At Pawthologie, we strive to provide high-quality educational content and supportive consulting services for pets and their people. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the procedures for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for our services.

General Policy

Pawthologie offers behavioral, nutritional, and lifestyle consulting services. Because these services reserve dedicated time with a consultant and require preparation, the following rules apply to cancellations and refunds.

Cancellations

A. Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • More than 24 hours before your appointment: Your session can be canceled or rescheduled at no charge.

  • Less than 24 hours before your appointment: The session fee is non-refundable. You may request to reschedule, but a new payment may be required.

  • No-shows: Missed appointments without notice are non-refundable.

B. Pawthologie-Initiated Cancellations

If Pawthologie must cancel or reschedule for any reason, clients will receive:

  • Priority scheduling for a new appointment, or

  • A full refund, depending on client preference.

Rescheduling

You may request to reschedule:

  • Up to 24 hours before your session: Free.

  • Less than 24 hours before your session: A rescheduling fee or a new booking may be required.

Refunds

Refunds depend on the type of service:

A. Consulting Sessions

  • Refundable: If canceled more than 24 hours in advance.

  • Non-refundable: If canceled within 24 hours or you do not attend your session.

B. Packages or Multi-Session Plans

  • Unused sessions may be refundable if the request is made within 7 days of purchase.

  • Sessions already completed or missed are not refundable.

  • Any refunds for multi-session packages will be prorated based on full single-session value, not discounted package rate.

C. Digital Products, Guides, or Downloads

  • Digital products are non-refundable once delivered, due to the nature of digital content access.

Late Arrivals

If you are late:

  • Your session may still end at the scheduled time to avoid overlapping with other clients.

  • Sessions shortened due to late arrival are not eligible for refunds or discounts.

Emergency Circumstances

We understand that unexpected events happen. In cases of:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Family emergencies

  • Severe weather or safety concerns

Pawthologie may, at our discretion, allow exceptions to this policy. Proof may be required.

Please include:

  • Your name

  • Appointment date/time

  • Reason for cancellation or rescheduling

Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without contacting Pawthologie first may result in:

  • Permanent refusal of future services

  • Submission of documentation to the payment processor to dispute the chargeback

We are always happy to address concerns directly.

Policy Changes

Pawthologie may update this policy periodically. When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date will reflect the new version. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
